Belarus hat den zweiten Platz in der Kategorie „Agrartourismus“ nach den Ergebnissen der Abstimmung beim Wettbewerb National Geographic Traveler Awards 2015 eingenommen
Die Zeitschrift National Geographic Traveler führte einen Wettbewerb über die besten Touristenziele unter den populärsten Erholungsmöglichkeiten 2015 – National Geographic Traveler Awards 2015 – durch.
Die Online-Abstimmung fand vom 29. Juni bis zum 10. November 2015 in 18 Kategorien statt. Das sind Strandurlaub, Familienurlaub, Skiurlaub, Exkursionsurlaub, Agrartourismus, Wellnessurlaub, Ökourlaub, Abenteuerurlaub, russischer Tourismus, Entdeckung des Jahres, gastronomischer Tourismus, exotischer Urlaub u.a.
In der Kategorie „Agrartourismus“ bekam Belarus 22% der Stimmen. Den ersten Platz ging an Italien (26%). Die Slowakei erhielt 20%, gefolgt von Moldau (18%), Russland (9%), Serbien (8%), Australien (4%) und Litauen (3%).
Belarus wurde auch in den Kategorien „Familienurlaub“ (3%) und „Wellnessurlaub“ (3%) vertreten. Die Nationale Fluggesellschaft Belavia bekam 3% der Stimmen in der Kategorie „Die beste internationale Fluggesellschaft“.
